Theory Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Institute for Particle Physics (IPP) is committed to supporting excellence in theoretical particle physics in Canada. To this end, from 2006 through 2013, IPP funded a national Theory Fellowship Program which provided partial support for postdoctoral fellows working in theoretical particle physics (or closely related fields) at Canadian universities or major research institutions. The goal of this program was to attract the highest-quality postdoctoral candidates to Canada.

IPP ran a pilot programme in 2006 (jointly funded by the IPP and Perimeter Institute) and full programmes in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. Unfortunately, funding cuts rendered it impossible to operate past 2013.
